I am originally from Connecticut, but have lived in Massachusetts, Georgia, and Washington D.C. I have a B. A. in English and an M.T. in Early Elementary Education and have taught Kindergarten and Third grades. I have a Black Lab/Aussie Shepard mix named Manitou who brings loads of love into my life and has been a wonderful teacher along my journey.
After a life changing experience, I became involved in energy healing. I looked into a number of modalities, but Healing Touch resonated best with me. The precision and variety of Healing Touch techniques allow me to help clients with vastly different emotional, physical, spiritual, mental needs. Relaxing music, tuning forks and essential oils round out the tools for healing I use, along with unconditional love and of course, my hands.
I have completed Level 3 of the Healing Touch Program, where I learned more techniques to assist in returning the physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental bodies to full health and vitality.
I am a Level 4 Healing Touch for Animals Practitioner. Many techniques from HTA can be used on humans and animals alike.
I offer my clients an array of techniques acquired over 7 levels of Healing Touch Program and Healing Touch for Animals training.
Both Healing Touch Program and Healing Touch for Animals techniques are appropriate for distance healing, and I have experience performing a number of human and animal distance sessions.
I also have certificate in Animal Communication and offer Mediumship (conversation with animals who have passed) conversation with living animals when their people have questions for their companion, to assist in locating a lost companion, and medical intuitive services.
I am a graduate of the Transpersonal Hypnotherapy Institute as a Certified Hypnotherapist (C.H.t). NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Proramming) and Past Life Regression were included in my training. I am pleased to offer hypnotherapy to my clients as it is a wonderful complement to the Healing Touch work.
I am a member of The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, which "works on behalf of its members to establish the credibility and efficacy of energy psychology methods through its programs of education, certification, ethics, humanitarian aid and research. By upholding standards of practice and a code of ethics for energy psychology practitioners, ACEP raises the bar of professionalism for this emerging field."
My ACEP profile link is www.energypsych.org/member/dawnslighthouse. Here you can read more about me and the energy work I do.
Many friends (human and animal alike) have had great impact on my journey, and I am grateful to each one for their contributions to my growth.
